This desk is made of mesquite with Texas ebony inlay. This customer liked stars so we used them as much as possible. The left side of the desk has a pull out shelf designed to hold a CPU, the right side has 2 file drawers for lateral files, there are pullout work surfaces on each side and there is a pencil drawer in between. Sitting on top of the desk is a separate piece that houses 8 shallow drawers with Texas ebony fronts and one flip up door. On either side of this section are small storage spaces accessed by sliding doors. The stars on these doors are appliqued instead of inlayed so that they can be used as pulls to slide the doors open. (see thumbnail) All of the sides of this desk have floating panels. |
